What You Should Know in World of Warcraft Classic

Oct-10-2019 PST Category: WOW Classic
As you know, World of Warcraft Classic is a faithful recreation of "World of Warcraft" launched 15 years ago. It was released worldwide on August 27 and is very popular. Blizzard is constantly exploring new areas to fight against queues, and has recently increased the maximum player capacity of all servers to address longer queue times, with nearly 20,000 people waiting for logins at startup. Now here's a classic wow gold guide that explains all the exciting things and what you need to know to get into the MMORPG.

Server Identity

World of Warcraft Classic does not have any cross-domain areas where people on different servers can meet each other. The current version of World of Warcraft uses what Blizzard calls sharding to ensure that players are evenly distributed across regions (shards). Through cross-domain raids, communities in the Dungeon / Raid Finder and real-time versions of the game, the only pillar of the domain identity is the guild.

In the classic game, Blizzard replicated the entire continent, not just the area, through a technique called "layering," which was invented specifically for the launch of classic games. The plan was removed in the second phase. There will be no cross-domain areas or Dungeon Finder, which will cause problems with the server player.

No Class Homogenization or Elaborate Talent Tree

There are nine classes to choose from in the classic game: Druid, Hunter, Mage, Paladin, Priest, Rogue, Shaman, Warlock and Warrior.

Paladins and shamans are restricted by factions, which means they can only be played by members of the Alliance or the Horde, respectively. Each class has its own unique features. Masters can summon teas and open the gateway to the big cities. Shamans have totems to enhance their allies, and they can resurrect themselves every hour. The rogue has its own "career" centered on poison, and hunters need to constantly buy ammunition!

In the latest World of Warcraft expansion, Azeroth's battle, class homogenization is a huge problem, and Blizzard hopes to do something to distinguish classes in the next expansion.

Classic is not disappointing when it comes to talent trees. You will receive your first talent point at level 10 and continue to earn a point at each level up to a total of 51 at level 60. Tired of your regular build and clumsy talent tree? Try to create a viable hybrid version!

Leveling

In World of Warcraft Classic, the maximum cap is 60, and the leveling is really difficult. If you pull more than one mob at a time, then you messed up. Especially for casters, there is a lot of downtime and food is needed to supplement their mana. You need to trade with Mages or buy food, which is not cheap.

Ability has multiple levels and does not automatically learn. You will need to visit the class teacher frequently to learn new spells and save hard-earned gold coins to purchase them.

Travel is also more challenging. There are no flying mounts in the classic version of World of Warcraft, you will walk to level 40 until you get your first mount. There will be no Dungeon Finder, you will need to meet with your party on Meeting Stone to enter the dungeon.

Frequent Content Updates

For an authentic vanilla experience, Blizzard will be releasing all Classic content in six phases that correspond to the patches of the original game.

Here are the individual content release phases:
