If you're brand new or have never done group work, you can simply let us know and we'll be sorry for any harmful player. For veterans, stop making matches and hoping for flawless runs, take advantage of the party finder. You can also message me if you require assistance with learning how to use the Hard mode Argos/Abyss P1 (on NAE)
I'm hoping you'll take note of a couple things however, first and foremost I hope it will not deter you from matching new content in the near future.
And for the player who is playing Argos P1 for the 1000th time, relax. Once you click the matchmaking button Dude, you should expect some novice/scuff players...believe that people can and have joined the game just recently. Make use of the party finder to ensure an effortless run.
If you're new to the game and don't know what the other players are discussing when they're talking about "x3 and NESW" You can just mention something in the beginning and I'm sure that someone will be more than willing to help explain.
On the plus side, if there's an uncooperative person to join a new player, you can get out them before they enter and avoid from a headache.
Last but not least, I'm offering the help of new players or players who have been in T3 for a while, learn the harder mode Abyss dungeons as well as Argos P1. Just shoot me a message if using NAE.
Yesterday I assisted a person who reached out the previous week using the help of an Argos P1 and we finished in under 20 minutes. I designed an "P1 Learner Lobby Chill Run" and it lasted around 3 minutes. The fight took under 15 minutes. Don't be afraid to create with your very individual "learner/chill lobby's" even if "Gigafast and 6x9 engraving aren't your thing, and have a dumpy" lobby's don't suit your needs.
Parties for learning/first-timers in normal Valtan tend to be full quickly - support including. I usually make one or two of them (before I went from my primary to hardmode) during the weekend, and they were in all occasions a positive experience. A some wipes here and there and the general atmosphere was happy, people exaggerating positive moments rather than accusing anyone else. They seem to perform quite well, often being able to complete the task in just a couple of attempts.
There are times when you meet people who attend one of those events expecting that they know everything from everyone else , and they require a little moderate. One thing I love to do (when I'm the one who is putting together the party) is to inquire - prior to entering the first boss arena, or even before forming an entire group to know how many first timers there are in the group. This will not only give me an notion of what I can expect from experience with the fight (how much I will need to ping, etc.)) as well as establishes expectations for the entire group.
Then, if they begin to lash out at anyone, a simple "come on we're all doing it for the first time It's difficult" is usually enough to put them down immediately.
In terms of putting together or leading the party for Valtan There's not anything in terms of "leading" needed. For gate 1, you'll need to be able to determine the use of Wei or using the orbs mechs normally (Wei is a little easier) For gate 2, you need to figure out who will take corrosion bombs and when to use Balthor at two distinct times and both are achievable once you've mastered the fighting and aid in keeping track of how your the fight is moving forward. Once you've mastered the fight, it's fine to fail. I'd say suggest that you wipe multiple times in order to become accustomed to the fight and understand the general attack patterns that happen.
