In the vast and immersive world of RuneScape, there are quests and adventures waiting around every corner. Today, we're going to embark on a whimsical and entertaining journey known as the "Swept Away" quest. This quest is unique in that it requires no specific items and has zero quest prerequisites, making it accessible to adventurers of all levels. Our adventure begins in the charming town of Varrock, where we'll set out to help the Queen Slime regain her lost love, King Slime.

To initiate the "Swept Away" quest, you'll need to venture to Varrock. From the world map, teleport to Draynor Village, which is in close proximity to the Fort Sarim lodestone. Once you've arrived in Draynor, head west to a quirky location known as "Once Upon a Slime." Here, you'll meet Peter and begin your adventure.

Peter, the proprietor of this unusual establishment, holds the key to our quest. Initiate a conversation with him and select option two: "Did you remind me, King Slime?" Peter's reaction sets the stage for your mission. It's time to locate King Slime!

Finding the King Slime

With Peter's cryptic directions in mind, teleport to Varrock using the Varrock lodestone. Make your way to the clothing store, where you'll meet Thalia. Thalia plays an essential role in this quest, so you'll want to engage her in conversation. Once inside the clothing store, you'll find Thalia, who is hard to miss with her distinctive top hat.

Top Hat Troubles

Peter insists that King Slime requires a smaller top hat, so you'll need to procure one. Initially, Thalia might provide you with a larger top hat, which won't suffice. To rectify this, teleport back to Varrock and kindly request a smaller top hat from her. Thalia will provide you with the correct size.

Creating a Shrink Machine

Your next destination is an intriguing spot within East Varrock. You'll need to set up a machine designed to shrink the top hat. Locate the building south of the bank, where you'll find an anvil store. Inside this store, you'll meet Eva, who is responsible for the machine. Speak with her, and she'll guide you on how to configure the device correctly.

Using your giant top hat, navigate through the machine's settings to ensure the proper configuration. After configuring the machine successfully, you'll have a smaller top hat, which is now ready for King Slime.

Reuniting King and Queen Slime

Return to Port Sarim with your resized top hat. Peter will use this hat to adorn King Slime. The moment of reunion between King and Queen Slime is both heartwarming and hilarious, making it a memorable part of this quest. Witness the lovebirds reuniting before your eyes.

Gathering Strange Ingredients

Your journey is far from over. Queen Slime has a request for you: gather a peculiar set of ingredients for her. She needs an eye of newt, an onion, burnt meat, and a rat's tail. These items may seem odd, but they are crucial to the quest. You can obtain most of these ingredients from various sources, such as the Grand Exchange.

After collecting the items, visit the south side of Varrock, where you'll encounter a rat. Defeat the rat and obtain its tail, a unique ingredient that you can't simply purchase. Once you have all the items, return to Queen Slime and present them to her.

Completing the Potion

Queen Slime combines the ingredients in her cauldron, creating a potent potion. She instructs you to drink from it. While it may taste horrible, the potion imbues you with power, an essential step in the quest.

Dousing King Slime

With the newly acquired power, return to Peter and get a bucket of purple goop. This goop is essential for our final step. Travel to the Queen and King Slime's location and douse King Slime with the purple goop.

The quest culminates with King Slime adorned with a top hat and splashed with purple goop, signifying the successful completion of "Swept Away." Buy OSRS Gold from RSorder to enhance your RuneScape adventures and equip yourself with the best gear and items for future quests and challenges.
