Apart from the bots. How has the game been playing today, since the game's it's debut. According to what I've read it appears that there is an apex bot issue, I think we've all heard about it in the moment even if you never participate in the game, there are plenty of people have written about it haha. This aside.
Given how diablo immortal was thrown into the fire by the MTX's being insane and predatory. Some of us, myself included are now reverting towards either this route or the path of exile.
Personally, I'm leaning towards the an exile path after studying about Lost Ark problems (reading poe can be problematic, however they're much lower than the Lost Ark - Lost Ark Gold buy & sell on P2Pah.com) and the main reason is that it's still is a massive work to have to do daily dailies, and just the same old "run the same two the dungeons and get shards of grind gear and repeat" It seems like they're still encouraging people to do daily tasks instead of playing the game. Perhaps I'm wrong, but I've
I've seen a lot of abandoned posts, and this is what they put into their large text walls.
I played the launch and climbed to 580gs. Then i was tired on the daily grind myself.
What are we doing with content plans, MTX shop, future of the game, etc.
Do you think it is worth investing into the game? Or does it seem like the hype has diminished since its it's launch. Does it seem like the same thing as at the time the game was released?
My personal view:
If you are a fan of collecting things and play casually(like mobile games for instance) I'd say it's ok to play.
If dungeons and raids are your main goal, then be prepared to invest lots of time or money to reach that point. I've got 6 t3 characters with just one 1432gs and 1400 hours(99percent of the time spent of the time doing nothing interesting, with a tiny percent actually doing dungeons/raids. It took that long to go to raids was not worthwhile.)
If you are looking to personalize your characters, I haven't played POE however POE may have more customization,(not speaking about cosmetic or stats, but more about skills/stats customization. LA is likely to have more faceroll-based gameplay).
If you prefer a semi-hardcore experience, consider monster hunter(not an f2p game, nor an MMO) or PSO2NGS(the aesthetics of the game might be a bit snobby for some and the game's gameplay is not difficult at the moment, but it has some potential). LA difficulty in gameplay is on an easy level, which is enough for casual player.
I was contemplating having at least 3 characters to 1415 , but I'm abandoning the idea. The rate of Honing is terrible. The fact that you can play 3 different classes is similar to investing 3 times as much time playing the game, and that's just for one raid which can only be played once a week. If further honing is required to unlock new content, I might think about quitting the game.
